Technical description

Construction

The construction of steel gate valves of TEKO corresponds to API600 and BS1414. Gate valve are yoke, flanged or welded with unnarrow flow rate and with flexible or fixed wedge. Bodies, covers and yokes are cast. Wedges could be forged or cast. All wedges are guided. Sealing seats are bolted or welded into body. Overlays in seats depends on Trim.

Material:

The gate valve are supplied in WCB, CF8, CF8M, LCC, LCB, WC6, WC9. Other materials are also available.

Installation

The yoke gate valve can be installed at any positions into the pipeline.

Testing

The gate valves are subjected to pressure tests according to standard API598. Both on shell and seat testing.
